The magnet of Chautauqua Institution attracts and keeps good restaurants: including Andriaccios outside the gate, Athenaeum Hotel’s Heirloom Restaurant and the Harbour Hotel at the southern tip of the lake.
Our regional wine district—just north of Bally Lough along the Lake Erie Plain– features both hybrid grapes and the noble grapes of Europe. Weekends in the summer, they often feature bands and food.
